Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of The Shule Project's website and participation in our programmes. By using this site or applying to a programme, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Our programmes

1 Teacher 1 Laptop, 1 Student 1 Laptop, and 1 School 1 Lab are subject to their own eligibility criteria and, for teachers, a device repayment agreement. Schools applying on behalf of students or staff confirm they have the authority to do so and, where a device is assigned to a specific child, that appropriate parental/guardian consent has been or will be obtained — see our Privacy Policy, Section 3.

2. Devices and device management

Deployed devices are enrolled in a commercial device-management/anti-theft service. Details of what that service can do, and under what consent, are disclosed in our Privacy Policy, Section 3 — read it before accepting a device on behalf of your school or a student.

3. Payments and donations

Teacher repayments and donations are processed via M-Pesa, PayPal, or ZamuPay. We do not store full payment card numbers.

4. Disclaimers

This site and our services are provided "as is," without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

5. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
